Lovin' Fall

We are loving the fall weather, and we even loved the snow that showed up before Halloween! Here are just a few pics of Halloween, and Kyle as a cabbage patch kid. We're getting anxious for our baby girl to join us...but we need to decide on a name. Let us know if you have any great girl name ideas :)

Golden Brown...or Golden Locks?

Well the time did come for Kyle to get his first hair cut. It was pretty difficult for me. My dad has always cut my brothers hair, so I entrusted him with the daunting task of cutting Kyle's hair. I told him he could only do it under my conditions, which were to not get carried away, but only cut one inch off. After he wetted it down and combed it out, and the ringlets were hanging down at the bottom he said, "Are you sure you want me to do this?", and he was the one pushing me for it the whole time! So of course I had to pause and second guess the decision, but I figured it was time. Luckily the curls are still in tact and it really wasn't that traumatic. :)

SUGAR 'N SPICE & EVERYTHING NICE!!

I think I am long overdue for an update!! We just found out that we're adding a baby GIRL to our happy little family! Neal is actually really excited...I was worried he would go into depression if it wasn't a boy :) Now we just need a whole new baby wardrobe!

Random Happenings

I haven't posted in awhile, because there hasn't been anything to really post about! Let's see...we've just been hangin out enjoying the beautiful summer weather, going to family reunions, attending galas (courtesy of Neal's work), getting new callings (1st counselor in primary pres), and trying to save up for our upcoming summer getaways!

They all made it in a little over two hours (Neal was the winner of the three :) Way to go you guys! We'll be looking for you in the St. George full marathon in the fall!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEAL!!!

Neal turned a whopping 28 on Tuesday the 7th. Sadly he had to work all day, but he got biscuits and gravy for breakfast, lots of singing grams and calls throughout the day at work, dinner at a yummy mexican restaurant, and.......an IPOD touch!!!! I totally splurged and went out of my comfort zone for this one...but I knew it would make him the happiest man alive for 100 yrs...so I think it was worth it :) He was very very excited and couldn't stop smiling. The smiling he is doing in the pictures is completely genuine...he didn't have to fake his excitement! We finished the night off with german chocolate pie (upon his request) and the movie "Bedtime Stories". Happy Birthday lovies!
